MODIFIED - Road Closure of Two Rivers Road and Midland Avenue

Due to an equipment failure, there will be no work at the intersection of Two Rivers Road and Midland Avenue on Monday, July 22.  The intersection has been reopened for the day.  Work will resume on Tuesday, July 23.

The Town of Basalt thanks you in advance for your cooperation and patience during this project.

Frontier Paving will be repaving and making repairs to the intersection of Two Rivers Road and Midland Avenue continuing east to the start of the Frying Pan Bridge (toward 7-Eleven) on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 23.

The roadway will be closed with no vehicle access for those two days.  In the event of rain, all work will continue to the following day.

Traffic from Two Rivers Road will be detoured through Cottonwood Drive from the east, and Midland Spur from the west.

No access to downtown Basalt via the roundabout exit from Highway 82 over the Midland Bridge.  The road will be closed at the entrance to the library.

All traffic to downtown Basalt will need to enter from Two Rivers Road from the east end or west end entrance.

Please try to reschedule or postpone deliveries for those 2 days to avoid conflicts or delays.

If you have questions, please contact Matt Wagner with Basalt Public Works at 970 927-4723 x 501.
